I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | ![]() My babies are on NV Raw and they love it but I would also like to get some recommendations for a quality Grain Free Dry food to give them as well sometimes, just for variety. I do want to stick with Grain Free as Tatum does have allergies. There is one catch though...it has to be something that is not high in calories as Tatum is a little chub already and I am trying to keep her weight down. Anyone have any recommendations for us? Please share! ![]()

| ![]() Hey Stedmansmommy! I just switched Zoe on to a new grain free food, I had been using Solid Gold but it gave her the poops poor lil girl. I've got her on a puppy food by Orijen, I've heard lots of good stuff about it. I don't know if they have a low-cal version but she loves the puppy food. The only thing is her poops come out hard and very dark (sorry) but the vet said that it was normal because it's a high quality grain-free food. Best of luck! ![]() D-

| ![]() I also used Taste of the Wild. Im mix the 2 flavors of Wetland and the Pacific Stream. On the food analysis it is listed as TOTW, the Wetlands Formula is a 6 star and the Pacific Stream is a 5 star. This is a all life stages food also. Our local Tractor Supply carries this. It not that expensive at Tractor Supply either. I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | ![]() Thanks so much everyone for all of the wonderful recommendations! ![]() ![]() ![]() Our vet's office does carry the NV Instinct, but only in the Chicken formula and with Tatum's allergies I just don't want to put her on a food that has Chicken in it - BUT...I called the store that I get their NV Raw at and talked to the manager (she is sooo sweet!) and she is going to order the NV Instinct Duck Meal & Turkey Meal formula for me and she said that she will keep it stocked for us - YEAH!! ![]() ![]() Thanks again for all of the recommendations....you guys are the best! ![]()

| ![]() I recommend Nature's Variety Instinct too. My friend Cynthia (crb) feeds her babies the raw and the kibble from Nature's Variety. They just came out with a new rabbit meal formula too that you might want to check into.
