Petzlife: Spray or Gel?

To those who use Petzlife:

Do you prefer the spray or the gel? How do you apply it? Britney and Brooklyn hate the toothbrush. How often do you use it?

I've never tried the spray cause the gel works just fine. I used to just put it on my finger and then rub it into their teeth. I was only using it once or twice a week but have found that the best results come from using it every other day and using doggy toothpaste and brushing on the alternate days.

That's what I do too. I use the gel.

I bought both cause I'm a dummy, and the only difference for me is the spray is easier to use with no waste. The gel when I put some on my finger or toothbrush always is more than I need. The spray is just 2 squirts on each side of his mouth. I guess that would be 1 squirt on each side of the mouth.

Have both and I like the gel, the dogs like the gel! They just don't like the sound of the spray or the way it feels when it is sprayed in their mouths........gel works fine and I won't be buying the spray again! JMHO

I found that the gel lasts longer. I use a Q-Tip to rub the gel around the gum area. (just don't dip the Q-Tip back in the gel after you apply. Always use a clean end)

Thanks for the post Kyle! I've been thinking about trying Petzlife after all the threads lately and didn't know which one to get. I'll be checking back to see more opinions! I was thinking the spray tho. Meeko won't let me open his mouth to brush his teeth.

I'm going to have to try the gel. Conner hates having his teeth brushed, so every other day with the toothbrush would be great.

I've always used my finger but the Q-Tip is a great idea! THANKS!

I use the spray.. it is MUCH easier because you dont need to open their mouths wide... just lift a cheek for a second and spray.. It works great

I prefer the gel. The kids really hate the spray and I find the gel is much easier to use. I use it with a q-tip as well and it works great

Yeah, I'm surprised so many people preferred the gel, I usually use the gel at bath time, but at bedtime the spray is so fast.

Hey Kyle! thanks for asking this question..I would also like to know!
I think i'm going to get the Gel..I can't see Pixie having a spray in her mouth! she hates her coat conditioning spray..just the noise of it freaks her out!
