Is it just me or does anyone else think (or know) that the Star Wars producers/et al based the little Ewoks appearance on the yorkie puppy? I think they are very similar, so cute, just like our yorkies are/were during that puppy stage.

Ya, I almost named her after that one ewok in Return of the Jedi but I couldn't remember his name

Here is a pic that I played with, think I used watercolor filter, she really looks like an ewok in this pic.

I always thought the Ewok was based on a Yorkie. From my first litter with Mandy I named a boy Ewok and the people that got him kept the name.

I always wanted an Ewok so I got Yorkies instead

I've always thought Tatum looks like a little Ewok also...... especially as a puppy!

That is too funny. My FIL always goes around calling Louis an Ewok. Since I'm a curious person I googled it ( sorry I had never seen Star Wars, till a year ago) and just laughed and laughed.... we have Ewoks amongst us... shhhh!

That's funny, my daughters friend used to call Odie and ewok when he was a puppy.

Honestly it's the ears...lol... Odie too looks like an ewok and I think it is because of his ears.. not to mention the *unkept hair style* he doesn't like to be brushed or combed.. giggles..

We have had the same discussion about our dog looking like an Ewok. We have even decided to name ours after one of the Ewoks!
