| ![]() Did anyone see the Dog Whisperer today? It was about two little out of control yorkies, and I nearly wet my pants laughing. I have seen Caeser take on the most vicious dogs I have ever seen, and even a few vicious chichuas; but those yorkies won today, hands down. He was trying to "take control" of the broom closet. Those little imps just kept running around him and doing their thing like he was not even there. He finally got them to sit down in a corner ( they didn't give in, they were just planning their next move). You would have thought He had conquered a dragon, he was so proud. Then they took off after the sweeper again. It took a 6 foot policeman, a Mexican dog expert, and the wife of the family to keep things under control. It was the first time I ever heard Ceaser say we need to work as a team. When he tried to explain to the man that he had to be more forceful, like he is in his police uniform, the man had tears running down his face. There is no way that policeman is going to become the leader of that pack! Those precious pups have complete control of that family, rightly so I might add. Anyone that thinks a Yorkie is just another dog, that needs to be controlled, has never looked into those little black eyes, seen that precious little pink tongue dart out, watched for that unbelievably sweet cock of the head. Yorkies are an experience. Yes they need to be housebroken, if possible, taught to not run away, shown what they must leave alone because it might hurt them; but taught to answer to the famous Ceaser SSSHH! Lets be honest, their very mischievioness is what we love the most. I adore The Dog Whisperer, and if I ever have a vicious dog to train, I will try his methods; but as far as I am concerned , that match today went to two 5 pound fur balls. Yorkies ONE, Caeser 0. ![]()

| ![]() LOLOLOLOLOLOL ![]() ![]() ![]() Those Yorkies sound exactly like Ellie. He wouldn't have a chance with her. Were they barking out-of-control at the broom? Did he finally "train" them?

| ![]() I saw thay episode, too! Those little stinkers sure didn't back down easily did they! I often joke that I need Cesar to come to my house whenever Archie stares me down with those big round eyes and starts sassing me with his fiesty little "Grrrrrr ... grrrrr ..." I'm sure Cesar would have some strong words for me about who's leading the pack in this house!

| ![]() Oh good, it was about Yorkies!! I have it on my DVD. I will watch it later. We always say to Moose....."do you want us to call the dog whisperer??" Now I know why he doesn't care when we say that.....Moose knows that he will still be the pack leader, even if Cesar is around. ![]()

| ![]() I've seen that episode before. I've always said that Cesar has great principles and does a great job with the big dogs but the little ones and ESPECIALLY YORKIES do get the best of him!!

| ![]() I think he stays away from yorkies as much as possible. You hardly ever see him with yorkies! I will say, when chewy was a puppy, he would not let me sweep or mop. He would go after the broom and mop and drive me crazy. After watching Ceaser, I tried something I saw him do. I got in between Chewy and the broom... I sat there for about 20 minutes blocking him from the broom. every time he tried to go around I would turn and block. He finally gave up and has NEVER tried to go after the mop or broom again. In this case it worked! The Book THE LOVED DOG is also very very good with lots of training info in it.
