| ![]() When we're playing, Johnny sometimes grabs my hand and bites hard. If I throw the ball, he fetches it, brings it to me, drops it, and grabs my hand. Tonight, it really hurt. Any suggestions? ![]()

| ![]() I can tell you what worked for us. Whenever Gus did that as a puppy I would give him a firm no (sometimes even yelp like a dog would, if the bite was hard enough) and then put him down on the floor if he was on the couch or get up if I was on the floor. I'd give him a minute or two and try again. It didn't take him long to realize biting equalled being ignored, which he really hates, so it worked like a charm.
