Donating YT Addict | ![]() There is a story in today's Boston news that 22 small dogs were found in a car, 3 of them dead, in a Wal-Mart parking lot. The woman was bringing them from a puppy mill in Maine. ![]() Again..those puppy mills need to be stopped! A new Pet Store just opened near me that sells puppies...I just can't bear to even go by it but there are plenty of cars out front... All those poor babies ![]() |

| ![]() That is so sad, I wish they could be stoped. I think if people were more informed or cared to be informed it would make a big difference. I think the topic needs more air time. I was uninformed when I got my baby and if people only knew I wish I had.

Donating YT Addict | ![]() The article says Somerville, ME. The state seized over 200 dogs from a kennel in Buxton called J'Aime Kennels a few months back. They were in such aweful shape. Thank God 2 of our rescue organizations came to the rescue and they are all being rehabilitated. I think the number grew to over 250 as many of the seized dogs were pregnant. Many are now up for adoption at the Animal Refuge League and The Animal Welfare Society. It has really wiped these shelters out financially and volunteer wise but the poor dogs are all being cared for and socailized for adoption. |

http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54637 Brylaur Puppies - Please don't anyone purchase from there, if you read my thread above you'll see that there are quite a few people that have sick or dead pups from them. While I have to admit, Roxy and TJ are soooooooooo cute, they come with LOTS of genetic issues. Please do your research. Anyway, I am quite postive (from my viewing of her website, which she has pretty much taken down all of the pictures) that that place is HORRIBLY UNSAFE AND FILTHY ![]() ....have you heard of them.... | |
