| ![]() I have been thinking of getting some "Angel Eyes" for maggie because she tears up SO badly and her face hair is just nasty within a couple of hours of being washed. Then I did a YT search for Angel Eyes and read that it is an antibiotic. so now I am concerned about using it. any other suggestions? I really don't want to change her food...we are extremely happy with what we feed...and all of our dogs do really well on it. I have read that distilled water helps...does it really?? I also read about "leafy greens". has anyone found that this helps? Is there anything else?? I'm really wanting something that will work...I am tired of my baby having a "gunk face" all the time.

| ![]() I was told by my cats breeder to use only distilled water for him, so I always used it for my Yorkie, Bobo also. Then we moved and had city water so I thought we would just try that and Bobo developed very teary eyes and sticky hair under his eyes, we went back to the distilled water only for them and the eyes cleared up after only a short while. You may want to try that. Tammy |

| ![]() I used Angel Eyes on my Bella (a white poodle mix) and I only used it a few times, and it helped! After it cleared up a little, I stopped and I've kept her with distilled water and we keep her hair around her eyes short. Here are 2 pics so you can see how much it helped. She was really bad when we first got her. I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() I thought Angel Eyes was more for the staining problem, not to eliminate tears. We used mineral water for Joey and it cleared up the problem. Walmart has distilled water made for baby formula that has fluoride in it (I was worried about his teeth). It's in a gallon container for a little over $1.00. Eventually he outgrew the problem.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() I just switched mine to distilled because of Dixie's kidney failure and Pixie has a staianing problem so I am going to see if it helps her. Cali doesn't stain.
