| ![]() Do they shed? Chis do and Yorkies don't, so what happens with a mix?

| ![]() I don't know what happens as far as shedding, but I'd get a hold of the breeder, and see what input they could give you. The picture is adorable.

| ![]() I'd say as long as she's only selling them for a reasonable adoption fee then go for it. I would never buy a "designer dog" from someone who breeds them intentionally but I know accidents happen ![]()

| ![]() [QUOTE=MyFairLacy;1607773]I'd say as long as she's only selling them for a reasonable adoption fee then go for it. I would never buy a "designer dog" from someone who breeds them intentionally but I know accidents happen ![]() oh i TOTALLY agree with the whole designer dog thing..not really into supporting people making money off of cute names for pups (bug, jug, labradoodle..etc) with no care for the health of the pups. my friend gave me a little more info..so like i siad, this person is NOT a breeder and her yorkie got pregnant by accident...still not too sure how this "accident" happened but something about a family member watching the pup...and here we are. im scared for the mother yorkie because this person apparantly has NO breeding experience. i gave my friend YT's info to pass onto the co-worker so that she can look into it and hopfully have a safe delivery for the pups and momma. they still arent sure how many pups there will be, but think there are only two. apparantly they are not charging for the pups and just looking for friends and family to give them to. there are a few people in line before me but i let them know that if the puppies end up being not spoken for to let me know. then i will go for a visit. a little disappointing since i really thought that this was going to be my new little girl that i could watch grow up right from the start, but it looks like its not going to happen ![]() |

| ![]() I'm pretty sure that Chip is a Yorhuahua, but he looks predominately yorkie. He was a rescue so its hard to definitely say if he is or not. From the ones I have seen there is a wide spectrum on their coloring, size, personality. In Chip's case he has the coloring of a yorkie, the shape and tail of a chihuahua, his hair doesn't get very long, and has minimal shedding. Chip is also on the larger side of yorkies being 15 lbs.
