| CA trying to Repeal Hayden Law My Groomer informed me last night that California is trying to repeal the Hayden law which protects shelter animals. She informed me that one of the changes being proposed is how long an animal is held prior to euthanasia. Currently I think it is 6 days and they are considering changing it to 1 according to her. I honestly am not educated in these laws and provisions but I am going to start reading up. I just wanted to give all California dog owners a head up to contact Governor Brown with your dismay over the proposed changes in order to save money. I have just started reseaching but here a a few links. I would love to hear from YT members who are more knowledgeable about these laws in order to be more aware. Gov.
