China. Very Graphic Beware. This is a very graphic video, that I forced myself to watch. People need to know what happens. Remember we are their voices. Please if you can watch the video and sign the petition. I personally boycott anything from China. They are brutal. PTROA - Stand By Animals In China |
Petition signed oh my god unbelievable cruelty I am in disbelief & shock=( |
OMG!!!!! That is beyond belief! How can people be so ultimatly cruel??!!! How can they live with themselves?! I pray for those poor helpless animals! |
I couldn't even finish watching. I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. This is so disgusting, so sick, so wrong. I can't even believe it's allowed to take place. I will do anything to help fight against it. |
Yeah, I had a tough night after watching it. I got to one part and then had to stop, but I still see the faces. I can't even eat. I know things go on, but never could I imagine what I saw. I too pray for them. E. |
This is one I won't watch. I clicked on the link and saw what it's about. I've seen that stuff before and once is enough. I did a thread a couple weeks ago about dog fur being used in coats sold in America. What they do over there is obscenely inhumane. Sad to say, but even human life is not valued all over the world and animals...well, their suffering is meaningless to some. |
I know what this video is about and I just cannot watch it. Just sitting here typing this I have a pit in the bottom of my stomach and images running through my head and I haven't clicked the link :( It's so disturbing that I will have these thoughts for days. |
couldnt finish it...about 15 seconds had me fighting not to be ill...i will never understand the sensless cruelty in this world...people that can do that are SICK |
can't watch it, I won't be able to hold myself together. I agree though, how do people live with themselves being so cruel to another living being? I can't understand and don't know if I will ever be able to understand it... |
I hope god has no mercie for these people. How can they do this to the poor animals hope no people ever sale dogs to this country. |
Can't watch it now (kids in the room). I read the description, and really as horrible as it sounds, it's not much different than factory farms in the US - it's just that it's livestock here. I think it's easier to get upset at the things that happen in China because it doesn't require that we change - just that we educate people. Things very similar happen in the US daily, but what is needed is for people to stop buying these products (meat, dairy, eggs, leather) and instead buy from more humane farms. Doesn't usually happen though. |
I think I've seen this video in its entirety when I watched the documentary 'Earthlings'. Is this the video about how they get the dog fur off of the dog? If yes, this video will haunt me to the end of my life. I needed to watch it, but if you see it there is a part of you that will never be able to let it go. I agree w/ what EllieMay says...cruelty happens right outside our doors. And doing any small thing...eating less animal products, buying consciously with cosmetics, avoid products/companies who do animal testing, buy food that comes from free range/humane farms. Every little effort counts and adds up. :) |

We don't skin animals alive here. We don't beat animals to death because it'll make them taste better. We have slaughter and transport standards, we have facilities designed to make animals more comfortable even up to the point of their demise. We are certainly not perfect and I think a LOT needs to be done here, too, as I am sure not EVERY facility follows these rules. But I think, in general, we are a *bit* more humane than this video. But... just dreadful. I cannot get the image out of my mind of that dog, completely alive, having his skin ripped off him as if they were simply tearing off a band-aid. His eyes still open, skinless, still can see his throat breathing. Watching live dogs being thrown in an incinerator. Bags full of dogs, as if they were stuffed animals. |
We do have better laws here, but tons of times they aren't followed. Chicks ground alive. Animals packed in trucks. Crates thrown. Reports of cows being dismembered alive. Pigs defurred in a boiler while conscious. Bolt gun or whatev not doing its job and some of the process is done while conscious. And animals bled out "hopefully" after unconscious. So IMO any support of any of these companies is not okay for the animals. Besides not buying animal products from China, I think the best we can do for the animals is not support questionable places here. |
I feel SO sick after watching that, My heart is pounding ... I am still in shock. I can't believe it.. I can't believe that... |
