This is so heartbreaking. I just can't believe what I watched! I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight with those images running through my mind. After I saw that, I went and woke up my yorkie and just loved on her and thanked God for her. =/ Sooooo sad. I wish I could rescue all of those dogs and cats and give them the life they deserve... free of pain&suffering. |
Let's go vegetarian. |
Oh God in heaven.....I just can't believe that anyone could do such a thing.... I almost threw up... I cried and now I am Pissed!!! I have to do somthing more than just sign a petition...but what? |

Join me and boycott of Made in China. I check everything to see where it's made and if it's from China I won't buy it. I have caved (I bought the entire line of Germguardian recently replacing our more expensive and broken household items), forgotten to check on a few (oops) things-light bulbs and batteries are hard to avoid or find readily available alternative for, but besides that honestly when you tr, even with very little effort, it's actually NOT that hard. This was the final straw with me and China though-I'm sorry but the govt. there is just evil in my opinion, they not only abuse, people, animals and the environment but they they do it to their own more than anyone else... I feel really bad for the Chinese people because my boycott obviously does affect the little guy's business but when the govt owns 51% if everything...I can't support anything there anymore. I've not only done great and with ease in my boycott but I've added the goal of buying USA made products and have upped my consumption of local goods to just over 40%!!! :) |

Disgusting to say the least. The Chinese are in the middle of a great economic boom and all they care about is making a buck. They are not the least bit interested in our western sensitivities. I am not a big boycotter per say but I do boycott Chinese goods, at least as many as I can, they are everywhere. Shop carefully and make your statements with your money. |
Ugh!! I just couldn't finish watching the video. I thought I could but it made my stomach turn. I'm aware that this kind of brutality exists especially in China but it doesn't make watching these videos any easier. Even human life isn't worth much to them needless to say our pets. Tragic. I do my best to steer clear of products from China but I'm amazed how everything seems to be manufactured from there for much less and profitability :( |

Credit should be given to Adidas for being a company that did move to China for economic reasons however they have invested millions in creating a better life for their factory workers and giving them more rights within the company, vacation time and bonuses than any other company in China currently. They went as far as to build complexes of decent housing and a facility of shops and amenities for the workers and then giving the workers shared with the company so they weren\'t perceived as then making money off the workers, they are charging them exact cost! |
This is beyond horrendous, I could only watch a little, I know theres even worse going on in the world but it still never ceases to amaze me how much people hurt eachother and animals....sad, very sad |
Reading all of these comments I know there is no way I could watch this video it would haunt me for life and make me feel so sick that I don\'t think I could ever shake these images. :( I feel so badly for these poor animals, may God have mercy on them. I agree that I won\'t buy anything from China after hearing about this. |
I couldn\'t watch all of it because I get so, so angry. But please keep in mind, this is the same country that has a one child family only policy. And there are many pictures on the internet circulating of delivery rooms that are not clean or sanitary for child birth, making the mom gives birth to a full grown baby, and then immediately placing the baby in a bucket of water for it to drown. So if this is how they treat their own human population, I can only imagine how they treat their animals. Sickening. |
I made the mistake of watching this last night. I wish I hadn\'t. Words cannot articulate how haunted I am by these images. I didn\'t sleep much and even today I can\'t get them out of my head. No living creature deserves to die like this. That nice leather wallet you have in your purse? Yeah. It was made in China. Those beautiful leather Nike\'s you\'re wearing? Those were made in China too. How about that leather iPad cover? You guessed it. Everything that you buy that\'s made of leather from China only says "genuine leather upper". It doesn\'t specify what animal contributed it. And I think we just figured it out. Do you think they\'re going to waste an entire cow hide to make the small pieces needed to sew up a purse? I doubt it too. As someone who sews, there would be too much waste to justify doing that. That leather is reserved for our car interiors, couches, and jackets where larger pieces are needed. In America, we generate enough leather from the beef industry to keep us well stocked. Most of the slaughterhouses here are mandated and regulated to be humane. Yet the idea of shipping our leather hides over to China to produce our fashion statements is costly. So to turn a bigger profit, these companies are essentially condoning this indescribable practice. If you really want to make a difference, start writing to Nike and the many other companies that are producing leather goods, demanding proof of where the materials came from. Post it on your facebooks, email your friends and tell your neighbors. Then stop buying their crap. You don\'t need it. And I certainly don\'t want it if an animal had to go through hell alive to give it to me. |
We need to stop putting our hard earned money in China and put it back to the USA so that our unemployed can be employed and strenghen our own country. If Obama gets re-elected we will most definately become a communist country and we will lose our freedom to voice our opinions and help ban exports from China. |
