I definitely think you should go with your gut instinct on this one. Don't think of yourself as a trouble starter, think that you may be saving her. She looks awfully sad...

Oh wow. This just breaks my heart. Some people are just heartless. These dogs are completely defenseless.

She looks so pitiful and I agree with what everyone else has said that it is most likely a puppy mill.

How sad is that, she looks so scared and alone hunched up in a corner, it breaks my heart and makes me so angry at the people who do this to helpless animals for the sake of money

OK, I have called her but had to leave a message on the machine. I am going to ask her how many females she has that she is breeding. I am going to then ask her if she would consider selling her to me. If their are more I am going to try to find good homes that will offer to buy the others. She probably won't go for it if she is making good money, but with the economy the way it is who knows. Now that I have seen that picture I cannot get her out of my mind. I can't just leave her there like that. If she agrees to sell her to me I wonder if she will ever be socialized. It is worth saving her from that cage. It looks like if is outside and it is 30 degrees here. I will keep you all informed.

If she does sell them she will just use the money to buy more. She is not going to stop.
