| Do I have an agility dog in the making? Or do I have a yorkie who is secretly a cat? This little guy has quite the jumping skills! He can jump up on the couch and gets on end tables. He jumps up onto small things like a small round ottoman. He will jump from the ottoman over to the chair and its not right next to it. Yesterday he jumped up on the dining table bench to get to the table. And just now he scared the crap outta me when he jumped on a little foot stool and onto our tall garbage can that it was near! Oh and no fear jumping off the couch or chair. This guy is so rough and tumble. |

| LMAO that's a yorkie for ya. They fear nothing and are very determined to get what they want. They are also climbers, they will climb a webbed gate. My now passed Matese would pull out the dining room chairs from under the table, jump on the chair to the table and over a 1/2 wall into the living room (she ws a big girl weighing in at 17 lbs). I had to wrap clothesline rope around the entire table and chairs to prevent her from pulling the chairs out. Watch your little guy, he is still small and can injure his legs. I'm telling ya, these lil imps have monkey genes.

| Well you had one determined little girl there! Yeah I worry about his legs too. He's such a fearless little dude! I try to keep him from jumping but he's still gonna manage. |

| Put throw pillows on the sofa to prevent him from getting on the sofa, if your sofa has seat cushions, lift them up, lean them against the back of your sofa at an angle, even if you have to use your bed pillows, block the sofa. Those small stools, put them away for now, the ottoman, turn it on its side so Flint can't jump up on it. Your home may be a little disorganized for a while but it's better than the puppy spraining or breaking leg bones. Whatever he is jumping onto put things on top of it so he can't on top of them. I think it's time to train commands, like no, down, stay. Start with one command, buy boneless chicken cutlets, boil it, since he's a picky eater, a tiny piece of chicken can be used as a reward treat when he gets his command right, happy voice praise, make a big happy fuss when he gets his command right. Work only 5 to 7 minutes throughout the day when training. Terriers have short concentration span, more than 7 minutes they are no longer focused on you. Yorkie puppies have a lot of energy that needs to be burned off, once he is fully vacated long walks will burn off some of that energy.

| My oldest of my girls has huge back leg muscles and is a really good jumper but she refuses to go over an actual jump no matter what treat I try to use lol.

| Cody is a leaper. He will leap straight up in the air and comes down hard on his back legs when he sees squirrels, I stop him immediately with leave it command. Even at 12 lbs, he can injure his back legs. Be happy your oldest girl can't be coaxed into jumping.

| Quirky yorkies, do what they want to do when they want to, not when you want them too lol. Do you have her in any agility competition that would fail her for this.

| Hello. Worth doing the training of this guy. Even though a dog is considered the best friend of a person with extraordinary intelligence, initially, any puppy is a cute naughty creature. |

| Hello. Worth doing the training of this guy. Even though a dog is considered the best friend of a person with extraordinary intelligence, initially, any puppy is a cute naughty creature. He has a habit of doing what he pleases without regard to the wishes and requests of his master. Training a puppy for teams at home should begin as early as possible. The ideal age for learning the first commands is 2-3 months. At this time, the puppy may well master the simplest skills. An animal trainer cover letter explains who you are. Try to find a qualified specialist. |
