| Thanks for the nice comments. I kind of made it up as I went!! I've become the queen of PVC!! Her teeter is an eight foot board. I glued some outdoor carpet to it. I started with just a little threshold moulding as the pivot point because she was really scared of it. I've gradually made it taller with PVC. If I had it to do again I might make it a longer board so I could go higher with the pivot. I put one on that was way to high and had to cut it back. I made it with 1 1/4 " PVC. It has three straight pieces with two elbows and a cross bar at the bottom to stabilize it. I glued some moulding to the bottom of the board to hold it in the pivot. I'll measure it tomorrow and take some pictures of the details. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Keep us updated. Will you keep us updated on her progress. I think this looks so exciting to do. I have to get mine into obedience first, then I can try this out. My yorkiepoo is still having trouble with socializing. Hugs Mary |

| Thanks everyone for such nice comments. We went back to the park on Sunday. It was getting ready to rain so we didn't do any video, but she did really well on the teeter - went right over it! She's also starting to get the hang of what weaving is. I got so angry though - there was dog poop everywhere! It just bothers me so much how irresponsible some owners are. I'm expecting a sign soon saying no dogs allowed. I don't blame them if people can't pick up after their dog in a park where children are going to be playing ball. It just gives all the dog owners a bad name!! |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Clever Thank you for giving the information, I am book marking this. I can not wait to see the new video's. I am really getting excited about doing this, I hope my puppies do. They are pretty active little girls, so I think they will love this activity. I live in California, I have to check with the parks to see if I can set something up like this??? I have a very large park not to far from us, I am sure they will let me set up an agility course as long as I am not in any ones way. I look forward to seeing Sadie's new video. Hugs Mary |

| Thanks for the information. Nice job on the teeter good idea! You can go to the teacup agility web site and get some instruction for building equipment, check it out. There is a Yahoo forum called Working Yorkies you might like also. Good luck with your agility!!

| What an awesome video! You can practically see Sadie's ear-to-ear grin as she flies through the course. I've said it before and I will say it again but I LOVE to see owners like you who take the time and energy to train. This breed is so intelligent and can have such a high drive that they thrive in this kind of environment. You have done such a magnificent job training her and coached her to perfection on the teeter. You are truly an example to all and should be so proud! I sincerely hope to see you two compete at Nationals one of these years!! |

| Sadie is beautiful and talented! Great job on the equipment and training. I watched this video again today because I am buying a tube for Maximo. He does agility-like stunts around our furniture, so I thought he might enjoy something more structured. Next, I'll have to pick up some PVC and get out the hacksaw. |

| Good luck with it. It really is so much fun. If you can find a class in your area, I really recommend it. We've both learned a lot. |
