| The new class I said in another post that we were changing classes because it is ten minutes rather than an hour from my home. Daisy has done two classes, beginner and beginner intermediate. They only offer beginner or intermediate here and she didn't qualify for the intermediate class (see the 'we are humbled post'). We have been three times to the new class. The course is indoors and the equipment is much nicer. There is one person in the class with a dog that has done the class before and every one else is brand new. Three of the dogs are really young. We spent much of the first class jumping one jump then doing the weave poles . A change of style, we didn't do them at all in the other beginner class. The owner was subbing (way smart dog trainer) and was a little mean. The next class was with my intended instructor. We did much more stuff and she acknowledged that Daisy knew more and gave some individual instruction (as was promised before sign up). I really liked her and she says Daisy should be in the Tea Cup Agility Trial this November! (Hollly's website, click on 'about Holly' to read about her trianing methods etc) The third class was with the sub again as Holly was at a dog show. This time we did more. I felt like the teacher was never watching as Daisy did her stuff. So we did jump, jump, tire, table (with 5 sec down stay), tunnel, A-frame, jump with no verbal commands except "wait" and "ready" at the beginning. She didn't notice . I felt like a child looking for approval lol, but I paid for the class and want something besides running the course on my own. I guess Holly will be back this week. I need to find out what we need to learn to be in the intermediate class and ask them to work on that with me. We just spend so much of the class trying to get the other dogs through the tunnel etc that I feel like I am wasting my time/money.
