| Made in China Question With many of you saying you will not purchase toys made in China, I have spent hours on the phone with my vendors getting the scoop on Chinese made toys and I have learned a LOT. I've updated my website and I will continue to update it as I learn more. Loopies, the plush toys that I carry, are not made in the part of China that has had the problems. Apparently, different regions of China have different standards. Even knowing that the products were made in the good part, they have sent their plush toys in for testing and will have results back very soon which I will post on my site. These are a very high end product that retail for $5-$14 on my site (depending on size) These toys would cost at least $30 if they were made here. Assuming the test results come back just fine, is this acceptable to you? The company has been very kind about the entire thing and took the time to explain this all in great detail. As far as latex squeaky toys, I found a line that has been tested and got the best results possible. They are perfectly safe. My other rubber toys that I carry, the Busy Buddy line, have also been tested and are completely safe. Question - if I chose to carry the squeaky toys they would sell in the $5 range. I haven't added them to my site because I figured people would not pay $5 for a squeaky toy when Walmart sells the cheapo ones for 99 cents. (Now we know why one costs $5 and the other costs $1) I attached a picture and I would appreciate some feedback. If you would like to read more, go to http://www.barkaholics.biz/collections/toys-1/ and click on the link for product safety. I also added a section on my site just for items that I have confirmed are MADE IN THE USA. Not many toys are made here, but we are looking into West Paw Design products that are made in Montana. I *always* look at quality, practicality and uniqueness, but I will pay more attention to where the products are made. I know this is important to all of you so if you could just take a minute to let me know your thoughts, I would appreciate it. Thank you! Erin

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would buy if they were tested and deemed safe. I bought from westpawdesign, but I need squeaks like you pictured that are safe. Do you have them available now? Thanks

| I would buy a squeaky toy for $5 if it were tested. You simply can't find the laytex squeaky toys anywhere that aren't made in China. At least you are having the products tested. That's a HUGE plus in my book. Do you have a squeaky ball of any kind? I need to go look.

| Right now I'd be willing to trade a $30 Petco gift card for one tested squeaky soccer ball! You bet I'd pay $5.

| None of them are balls, they are all animals. The cool thing is that they come in regular size and Yorkie size. I'll put an order in and keep looking for a squeaky ball. We can't have our dogs go with out soccer balls! Hopefully these will come in this week or early next week.

| I don't buy vinyl or rubber or plastic toys...just because my two won't touch them. I am fine with plush toys....but it is even better if they are tested SAFE and/or made in the USA! Love your site...I have a list of things I have been wanting to order...need to get on the ball.....

| I would buy the latex toys if they were something that Tinkerbell would play with, but she has never really been into playing with them. She does love small plush toys though. That dragon is really cute. Thank you for taking the time to find out about the hazards for us and keeping us up to date. Even though I am not as worried as some people on here, it is nice to know that someone cares.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Hmmm.....$5 for safe toy or $1 for Wal-Mart not safe toy......no brainer on my part when it comes to Izzy's well-being. I would have no problem paying the higher cost if it were tested and safe. I think the dragon toy is cute, too.

| I just got word from PetEdge that the Zanies Giggling Peek A Treat balls have been tested and they are safe and have no lead in them! I wanted the test results because they do have paint on them. It took them a few days to get back to me, but just they just called. I will update my site to reflect that. Yea! Those are fun toys! Anyway, the dragon is on order along with a ladybug and a frog! I'll let you all know when they come in!
