The next YorkieTalk Gift Exchange, YT GE XXIV, our twenty fourth Gift Exchange, will take place in May 2011. Remember that the person you are giving a gift to MAY or MAY NOT be the same person you are receiving a gift from. You MAY or MAY NOT be paired with a Yorkie of the opposite sex. There is no official theme for this GE, though if you want to give your Secret Buddy Valentine-related items, that is fine.

We suggest you use the US Postal Service to mail to Canada or a non-USA address (as UPS and Fedex charges additional fees).

- You joined YorkieTalk before March 1, 2011.

- Please do NOT send your Secret Buddy any USED toys or clothes. Re-gifting a new item you may have received is fine, but any USED items are not allowed.

Please make sure you have read the Gift Exchange Rules and Regulations thread as well as the Gift Exchange FAQ before you sign up!

Please do not sign up unless you are currently a Donating Member.

Please note that the spending minimum is $25 for your Gift Exchange gift (this does not include shipping), though if you choose to spend more on your Secret Buddy, you may. Please do not expect anything more.

Here is the Gift Exchange Rules and Regulations thread. Please read it again, as there have been some changes to the rules since the last Gift Exchange. We now require all participants to be Donating Members (members that have donated $25 or more). If you are ALREADY currently a Donating Member (your usertitle shows Donating Member), this does not apply to you. We must receive your donation before you may sign up for this Gift Exchange. If you want to enter two Yorkies in this Gift Exchange, you must have donated a total of $50 or more.

Here is the Gift Exchange FAQ thread.

Please note that you MAY receive a secret buddy in Canada (if you are in the US), and you MAY receive a secret buddy in the US (if you are in Canada). Be prepared to pay a few dollars more in shipping costs if this is the case. If you receive a secret buddy in Europe or overseas, there will be extra shipping costs, thus you will be reimbursed roughly $19 for the extra shipping. We will reimburse you via Paypal or cashier's check after the recipient receives their gift. Also, to save on shipping costs, you may want to keep the package "lighter".

If you are not in the USA or Canada, there is a $20 shipping fee to participate per Gift Exchange. Your Secret Buddy will be reimbursed this $20 fee after you have received your package. This covers the extra costs of shipping international.

This thread is ONLY for signups. Do not post any questions or anything else besides sign up in this thread. Please PM us if you have any questions.

You must already have your Yorkie (if you are a new Yorkie parent) by March 1, 2010 to participate in this Gift Exchange.

The signup period will end April 30, 2011. You will receive your Secret Buddy information within THREE DAYS after the end of the signup period. If for some reason you sign up and can not participate in this Gift Exchange, you MUST notify us before the end of the signup period.

You may send gifts starting May 1, 2011. The deadline for sending out gifts will be May 31, 2011.

I need a few things that could be ideas for my Secret Buddy if they want them to be. I need a new pee pad for my living room. I would love to have a new bed or snuggle sac to sleep on/in. Lastly I do not have anything with my name on it. I am actually jealous of Jackson because he does.

Truthfully we just want our SB to have fun. We had so much fun last time and we just want our SB this time to enjoy the time.

Please have fun and don't stress out. We are very easy going here in Florida We have lots of beds in this house so please refrain unless it is something you just can't resist The exception being a snuggle sack from Auntie Sherry (Normarae63) Sugar told me she doesn't have one to share with Mommy yet

I use washable potty pads and have been wanting to order one from 107Barney but have not yet at this point.We like the coconut oil from Ryan if he has a sample size or something.
I do not use bows with bands on Sugar due to an infection. I DO use covered alligator clips now though.

Anything extra I want my Gift Exchange Pal to know about my Yorkie (please mention anything your Yorkie doesn't like or doesn't want or can't eat) -We arent allowed alot of snacks execpt yorkie yummies, cocochips, and jerkey. We love blankets, toys, just about everything. Special wants? We dont have many, Mom spoils us pretty well, only thing we can think of is a small show lead. Most importantly, we want you to have fun, because with a family of 7 furkids anything will be a hit. Please understand that Gidget's brother Dakota is a brat and thinks everything that comes here is his and his alone, so be prepared when you send your box that he will most likely be in every picture. Yorkie's favorite colors - black, blue, green, orange, red... pretty much anything. Daddy doesn't like the girly colors on him though ;-)

Yorkie's Favorite Toys, Snacks, Clothing style - Bevo loves toys!! He is gentle and has never torn one up! He really loves loofa dogs and anything that squeaks! Snack wise, he likes soft snacks...cant seem to get him to take crunchy one! He has never tried bully sticks! He dresses everyday! He wears a little of everything...he especially likes pajamas (that fit over all 4 legs) because he is so cold natured and they keep him warm! He loves his doggles...hes a good boy and whatever mommy puts on him, he doesnt ever try to take it off!

Yorkie's favorite colors - Well Texas orange of course! (and blue, green, black, and red)
