| Another first! Knitting from a pattern! LOL! Easy pattern, but I got stuck a few times and ended up winging it in a few places. This is a ribbed pattern sweater with legs and an I-cord edging (another challenge, lol) but I do like it. It's a turtleneck, so we'll wear it up for cold, windy days, and down for nicer weather. I see I missed weaving in one of the ends.... I also added the I cord around the leg edges, and a pompom. photo (6).JPG photo (9).JPG photo (11).JPG photo (13)-001.JPG

| Kathy, the sweater is so pretty! Good job! I used to knit and crochet years ago. Recently, I've taken crocheting back up and am having so much fun! If you have any EASY crochet or knit patterns, please pass them on to me!

| Great work! Looks like a good fit, too! I've not figured out the whole pattern thing, I'm still at the "wing it" stage.

| Great ribbing, love the pompom. I've only worked with an I-cord once on a DPN. Stay warm and keep up the great work |

| Nice sweater! I've knitted one for my boy, and for those who want to knit one there is some pretty ones at garnstudio.com. If you are new to knitting there are many good videos out on youtube, so you could learn all the basics. I wanted to make one really fast because it was cold outside, so i didnt make pattern but used multicolored yarn.
