| It came early! I got my sewing machine today! A day earlier than the original estimate! Super excited! I had gone to the fabric store on Monday and got a few things ready to sew, so when it got here today I went right into it! I made two dresses that I really like. I will post pictures in the morning when I upload them. Also, I really like the sewing machine! It is a Brother XL2600i. We got it on Amazon for a great price! It is smooth feeling and seems much quieter than my mom's Singer that I have used before. Just thought I would give my in case someone else is looking for cheap(ish), "small", sewing machine.

| Pictures! The first dress! I made it starting from a doll dress pattern. But I added the extra black part and obviously changed the sizes a bit. photo-1.JPG Somi wearing it!! She really doesn't like modeling her new clothes..... photo-2.JPG I really liked this material! The gray and purple cheetah was in the clearance part and the pink was a remnant! It doesn't have velcro, just sewn together because it is t-shirt material and stretchy! photo-3.JPG photo-4.JPG I was going to add a bow, but decided I wanted to keep it simple! I have stuff cut out for a pantsuit with a very fun material! I hope it turns out well!

| I just went back and looked at your machine.... that's a nice looking one and has a lot of the features my new machine has (same buttonhole thingy, top drop-in bobbin, and a nice selection of stitches, and probably more but my eyes are failing me this morning, lol). I love the outfits you've made.... very good work!
