| 6.5 weeks pics and question about weaning The 3 girls and 3 boys are growing by leaps and bounds..literally, have to add to the height of the pen keeping them all in! Question about weaning...as of last week they all started getting puppy kibble mixed with goats milk to soften it, morning and evening.. i have been offering them water, but they just stick their noses in it and maybe take a taste, but don't really have a good drink...so do i just keep offering them water after each meal and eventually they willl drink when mom isn't nursing as much and they are thirstier? thanks! here are the girls, next post will be the boys debbie tea' +6 |

| They are all adorable! I am not sure what the correct answer is here, but with mine, when I started offering them food, I also kept a little bowl of water there too. They didn't pay much attention to it until they stopped nursing. After that they started drinking water much more often. Sonya

| They sure are cute, and I bet they keep you busy, AND laughing. I don't know about the water, but I had to tell you how cute she is.

| Debbie, Are they still nursing ? I think Lexie's last litter stopped at about 5 weeks. They all are just sooo cute. Do you have any of them adopted yet? I love watching them grow, but dread that they wil be leaving me. Keep us posted on how they are growing!!

| still nursing Yes, they are still nursing...not very often tho, mom gives them a low mommy growl to keep them at bay.. One is sold to a wonderful woman who lives nearby, one I am keeping...haven't advertised them yet other than to list the litter on the AKC site...I do not want to ship them...I have tried not to name them as I know I will become too attached (isn't working tho, each has their own personality and I love each one). |

| Debbie, They are gorgeous!!!!! Oh Tino is so proud of himself! How is Tea' doing? Bet she is happy to not have to nurse so much. She is going to need a doggie vacation when this is all done. I am in love with all of their pictures and have them hanging around the office. I have been talking to people about the available pups. No definate's just yet but I know they can't resist those adorable faces! The one girl looks just like her daddy, I love it! I can't wait to see them again, your doing a great job raising the "kids"
