| All of your yorkies are SO beautiful!!!!! I agree with what you have on your website about males....my male is such a lover! I cannot get another yorkie right now (hubby would throw me out), but I am going to pass along this info to my mom. I'm trying to talk her into getting another one! |

| Thanks! Altho' I have show bloodlines, my Yorkies are farm dogs and not show. We all live together on a horse farm and have lots of children to play with. They arent crated or contained but allowed to play and run free alot, so their coats are not like those who are wrapped and kept up. But they are happier and healthier like any farm dog would be. I did build them an air conditioned/heated room of their own so they can be cool in the summer and comfortable, but for the most part they run and chew and play with their puppies or sisters or brothers and are very happy, calm Yorkies. The boys mom, Jasmine, jumped into a small pond the other day. Got so excited hunting frogs. I'm sure she didnt know what it was, but she found out! Sure was a funny sight! Lisa |

| Adorable Yorkies AKC - Champion Pedigree Yes, mom is small and dad is larger. He has alot of show bloodlines and they are taller, so he weighs more- about 5 1/2 lbs. You know, it seems that AKC and YTCA look down on the tiny ones. She is a great mom and has very pretty, healthy puppies. Lost none! So, Im guessing they will be small. They say you can judge their adult weight by taking twice their 12 week weight, so they were 2 and 2 /14 lbs then. Based on these factors, I'd say they will be 4-5 lbs. Lisa |

When you said you've 'lost none'...I'm glad ....but if it were my female I'd really worry more about losing her. I don't understand how anyone can breed one so tiny and more so - to a male 2 times her weight - | |

| My Maddie should be 3lbs - 3.5lbs and breeder said she was way too small to breed. She gets fixed next month. Does she have to have her puppys c-section???? Your babies are adorable! |

| I agree that that sounds WAY too small to be breeding (not that you asked us, ahem! )..... ....but your dogs and puppies are GORGEOUS, and I'm completely jealous of your farm! Looks like you have a great life!

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I brought up the weight issue on the OP's other thread but the whole thread was deleted. But, here's something you can read that came right out of a book on Yorkie breeding... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...1&postcount=37

| Weights on mom and dad Asked how I could breed one so tiny, I'd have to answer very carefully and successfully! My 30 plus years with Yorkies may have taught me a few things, y'all. Yes I was worried - I always am -until she delivered but she was fine and no C section and everyone was well, so it was very successful to me. Many of max's ancestors were smaller, and some of his characteristics were such that I could use him safely with her. He has a very small head which presents w/ tiny feet first in a birth, so thats important. Anyway, Thanks for all the nice comments on my puppies. They, and we, do have a great life. So, if anyone is searching for a very nice quality, very pretty male puppy, please put them in touch with me. These two have very special personalities, too. thanks, Lisa |
