have you researched "VERY TINY" yorkies? There can be MANY health risks and dangers. Most reputable breeders do NOT breed tinies on purposes, so beware. There are some on occasion, but still. Welcome to YT!

the standard is 4-7lbs. just don't search for tiny, as it will most likely come up with bad breeders and unhealthy babies

Have you tried searching hoobly? Go to hoobly.com and enter in your home area. That way you can search JUST in Michigan.

For instance:
http://www.hoobly.com/0/0/293772.html

I live in Michigan but I actually bought my Yorkie from Alabama and had her shipped to me. You might consider that, the shipping added an extra $180 to her price.

This seems just ridiculous:

There are healthy tinies out there... I have 4 yorkies that are 3 1/2 pounds and under.... all healthy. They do seem to need their teeth cleaned annually.

Good luck with your search.

Default There are healthy tinies

I have a tiny 2.5lb, 3.65lb and 3.5lb full grown all very very healthy. Have never had any health problems. Of course I will not breed the girls that small but would use the 3.5lb boy for stud.
I dont have any puppies available right now, but have 3 people from YT that have my babies and all will be small and all are healthy. Good luck--check them out good because there are some really good healthy tinies out there, along with some not so healthy yorkies in all sizes.

Hi Erin, I just wanted to say after reading your beautiful poem in the RIP I went back and read your previous postings. Our Cassie was three and half pounds and she was always so healthy other than getting bad teeth through the years, she lived a good healthy ten and half years. If Cassie hadn't gotten the Canine Virus that was going about here I am sure she still would be with us but then again, maybe her timing was God's choosing to call her to be with him. Have you posted in the wanted section in the Regional Section here at YT? Our Baby Blessing is weighing in at four and half pounds and that is still small to me. After we lost our Cassie I wanted another small yorkie due to my hubby having Parkinsons, it enables him to better hold her and she is able to ride with him in wheel chair when need be. We always took Cassie with us everyplace we went and now do the same with Baby Blessing, of course with the exception of the grocery stores. Once again I thank you for your lovely poem in the RIP tonight, and will once again add,
"I pray you will get your yorkie soon. I know God has one just waiting to place in your arms and hope it will be real soon for you. Have a wonderfull day, and when you get your yorkie please come and share pictures with us all. Patti, Jack and Baby Blessing"

I look forward to reading and viewing your pictures about your new baby hopefully real soon.

Hi,
Yes, I've tried posting. I went to a webssite some one recommended and I hope I will find a path to a beautiful, healthy, yorkie. I am sorry your baby had to go...I can't imagine the pain. I am very flattered my poem affected you. Thank god also, for Baby Blessing. If I do soon find my baby, I will send pics out asap!
Thank you!!!
Erin

Hi Erin, if you go to the top of YT you will see the 8 different places here at YT to go to, if you click onto the second one saying Regional, you will find the area near you and it would be a good idea to post into it in locating a yorkie near you. Good luck. Patti
