| Looking for a yorkie in NC Hey all I've been reading here on yorkie talk for several months. I've been looking for a yorkie to love for about 7 months total. I am ready to take that big step and get my puppy. Do any of you know any good breeders here in north carolina? I'm n ot much on shipping a puppy so I want to be able to pick my puppy up. Thanks in advance. Last edited by yokie; 05-31-2006 at 05:38 PM. |

| Thank you Donna I will definitely keep you in mind in my search. However I just talked to a lady in north carolina from butterfly's yorkies and I am meeting with her tomorrow at her home. She don't have a puppy ready for me at this moment but I am wanting to see parents and so on. I would rather come to your home if I get a puppy and see where everything is kept and how things are done. Thank you for that picture , your puppys are really cute and I will be in touch if things dont work out here in my state. |

| Thanks and Good Luck! I hope your meeting with Butterfly Yorkies goes well and great fortune in your quest for a baby to love. Their site is beautiful and seems like a wonderful place to get a pet. Of course, if that doesn't work out you are more than welcome to meet me at my house. Just trying to save you about 50 miles travel. Again...good luck and thank you for your consideration. Sincerely |

| Donna thank you for the kind words and encouragement. Butterfly's yorkies don't have any puppys availabe and i think she said that the ones she has now are r eserved but I would still like to see the parents and maybe be put on a wait list for the future. I am not deciding on anyone as this moment but I'm ready to get a puppy soon and I might want to come to your place to and see your dogs. I will send you a private mess. Thank you . |

| Ok. I think I might have found my puppy The lady at butterfly's yorkies talked to me for a long time on the phone tonight. She told me about a breeder in her town who lives about 6 miles from her house in Mocksville who has some puppys that are around 8 week s old now and they have 3 boys. Well she offered for me to meet her at her house and then follow with me to the other breeder's house to help me in my choice. I've never met anyone so helpful and she didn't want nothing from me and said she would just like me to find a healthy puppy no matter what. She even invited me to a charity dog event with my new puppy this coming septemeber. I know I'm gonna hate not being able to bring a puppy home with me tomorrow but I hope I get to pick one out and get my stuff together for him until he is ready. I have waited for several months to be at this point so a few more weeks won't hurt me. I have wanted a boy puppy for a long time. My name is Michelle and I am about to have my yorkie finally |

| Butterfly yorkies...that's Robbie....she is a member here. Although I have never personally met her, I would LOVE to. She is always so helpful on the posts and gives great advice. I live in NC as well, and she would be one of the breeders I would recommend to you. There are some good breeders on YT that are in that general area of the state. I know with Robbie on your side, you will make a great choice and have a wonderful furbaby to love. Good luck in your search!! We want pictures when you find the one!

She is a wonderful person and will help you in anyway she can. There are many YT Breeders here that are also great... You already are ahead in the game by finding Robbie. Let us know if you find a Yorkie baby!

| I just saw this thread and I was going to recommend Robbie but I guess it's a good thing I read all the posts. I'm glad you found someone who will treat you right and will find you a perfect new member for your family. By the way welcome to YT, and maybe after you get your baby then you'll want to come to our next NC yorkie meetup. It was alot of fun last time. That is where I met Robbie and quite a few other members from NC that are on here. Crystal

You have beautiful babies. Where in VA are you from? I'm orginially from SWVA, Whitewood in Buchanan Co. probably never heard of it. My husband is from Richlands. Just curious. Again you have beautiful babies.

| I live in the vacinity of Blacksburg (about 45 miles from there) in Giles County. I had a retired vet about 20 years ago from Richlands to buy a yorkie off of me. The older gentleman drove in a snowstorm from Richlands to my home at the time about an hour and a half to get his baby. He was a kind man. Richlands is beautiful and I love to drive from Bluefield thru Tazewell and out that direction to take in the scenary. Nice to meet you! Hugs, |
