| Banjo in Kentucky Hello All Yorkie Talkers,I have never posted anything on this site but is has been a life saver for me and 4 year old yorkie Banjo. You people are amazing which is why I am here today. This is something I said I would never do but Banjo is in need of a new loving home.He is black and gold and weighs 5.5 pounds. The reason.... I just recently graduated from college and am working full-time. My scedule changes weekly so I never know when I will be working, making it hard to arrange for Banjo also. My Husband has to travel frequently with his job and we have been trying to start a family for the past 16 months. These are the reasons why I believe Banjo deserves a loving home where he can get the attention and set schedule he needs.I would love for him to be welcomed into an experinced yorkie home, which is why I posted here, that will have the patience and time to work with him. As all of you know, yorkies are a breed of their own and it truly takes a special person to care for them. For anyone who may be interested I would like to tell you a bit about Banjo:He is AKC registered and he has been neutered. He IS NOT completely house broken, he will go when you take him outside but he will not let you know when he needs to go out (that is why I think getting him on some sort of schedule would help out a lot). *He does not like small children.* The only medical history he has was a bladder infection about 2 months ago, he had a round of antibiotics and is doing fine now. We groom him at home, the reason is the last time we took him to the groomers it ended in an emergency visit to the vet where he had to get 5-6 stitches in his "shoulder". When we take hime out he must be on a leash or he will run off (this we know by experience, we have had to chase him down the road a couple times). Some days he does bark more then others. He spends most of his day on the couch asleep. He doesn't like the vet (but who does?). He will not wear clothes or bow and he is terrified of storms (as long as he can get in a closest or under a bed he is fine). He will jump over small baby gates and open doors that are not latched. We will certainly miss him when he is gone, but we think this step is for the best. Banjo is still very energetic just like he was when he was a puppy! He is also very protective of his owners! If anyone is interested, just let me know! We are in the lexington, ky area but are willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet the perfect new family for banjo! If I have left any thing out, just ask!I don't have time to upload pictures now, but if anyone is interested I will do so later. Thanks for reading,Monica |

| Please, Please, Please also consider surrendering him to a "reputable" Yorkie Breed Specific Rescue Group in your area! If you are set on rehoming him yourself, please be careful and do your research of the family. Always go to the home of the family you are considering to do a home check. There are many unscrupulous people out there just looking for kind unsuspecting people. If you have any questions are what you should ask an applying family or how to do a home check, please pm me, ok?

| Thank you for posting a link to Banjo on the YTNR site. He is just darling and so glad he is in a great foster placement, while he waits for his forever home. Thank you YTNR for helping this little one.
