| Searching for a Yorkie in MA/New England area... Hi there! I'm new to these parts, as I've admired and yearned for Yorkies by myself for a long time, and only now am coming out of the woodwork to look for one to join my family. I've been on petfinder and all those sites, but thought it would be more helpful to get some real one-on-one advice from the yorkie lovers here. ) I'm currently located in the Boston area looking for the perfect yorkie to join my family. I'm established in the area, but am getting out of school so I can't be spending a thousand dollars on a puppy... I have enough for vet care, supplies, etc, but I KNOW that there are yorkie puppies out there for less than that. If anyone could point me in the right direction of a breeder in the tri state area (Or even as far as pennsylvania/NY/NJ area), that would be brilliant. I'm not looking for a show dog, and could even get a yorkie mix (maltese/yorkie preference)- just a loving pet. Thanks!! Abby |

| Good luck with your search Abby. You might want to look into a Yorkie rescue. Many offer very nice Yorkies that were given up due to various reasons. You might find the perfect companion and with the money you save you'll have it in case of unforseen vet visits. Terry & Eileen Ferragame www.ferragame.com
