Donating YT 500 Club Member | I am no expert. What color are the parents? I would think the color should be similar?

| It does look like the pup is breaking light. I could tell more if the coat was parted. I have seen some dogs that seemed to be breaking light but they turned out to be okay. Different lines break in different ways. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | He looks like he is going to be on the lighter side. All 3 of mine have been very dark from day one and the are 4, 3, and 2 years old.

| I would say you are going wait a little while before you know for sure. The flash of the camera sometimes make the coat look lighter than it really is because a silky coat really reflects light. I doubt the pup will be a real dark steel blue since it is breaking so early but the color may stay acceptable for show if that is your concern. But, then again, I am still learning too. It would nice if someone with more experience would weigh in. |
