| Help! what kind of tape do I use for floppy ears: My Meeka Poo is now 3 months old & her ears stay folded! I got her last week from a lady who has 4 adults and who HAD 4 puppies. Meeka's ears just stay flipped back flat against her head . None of Tracy's other pups had their ears up yet either! 13 out of 14 of my puppies had their ears up by the time they went to their new forever homes. I massage their ears every chance I get. Meeka Poo was born 08-15-08. My Chubby Chulo was born 09-03-08,and his ears are standing TALL as you can see in his pic! lol What kind of tape do I use that wouldn't rip my babies hair out? There is a Dog Show next May in Kalamazoo, Mi and I would love to enter Meeka Poo in the puppy class! Other than her floppy ears, I think she would do very well,,,she has a beautiful soft silky coat too! She is a lil on the long side, but other than that, she is very close to standard thanks so much! Angie

| Hi There I'm new to Yorkie Talk but know that masking tape or painters tape is the recommended tape for taping ears! Hope that helps. Linda |

| Shave them with a mustache trimmer first, all the way down to the base of the ear if you want to stand a chance of getting them up. You'll need to leave the tape up for 3 days, take it off, re-shave the ears, and re-tape.. this might take a week or two.. or longer. Keep the hair off, most important.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I had no success at all. I tried massaging the ears ,taping...several times. Did'nt work. Aiden also has large/longish ears,so I don't think it's going to happen, and he's 9 mo old. I know teething has a role, but I love the way he looks. Good Luck.

| I always massage pups ears starting at the base of the ear all the way to the tip. I have never had a pup with floppy ears and I have never had to tape one. I also keep the hair clipped off the ears. |
