| coat color change My boy is a little over a year and i had considered showing him(do not intend to breed) but his coat has not changed to the blue, he has some starting to mix in with the black but isnt he a bit too old for his coat to change? or is he just a late bloomer as it were? Thanks Tammy |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Some "break" or change colors later.....are you seeing any change in color on the back of his head, down by his hips or along his part? Did his face clear to tan?

| Denali is 16 months old and her head hasn't finished clearing yet. She's a very dark gal but she does have a blue tone in the sunlight. I would guess that he'll change but be on the later side. Would you consider his coat to be very fine?

| Baron's coat color changed when I groomed him... Baron's breeder said that he was a Black and tan. He would have a very light face as an adult. It got really hot and he kept panting. So, I had him groomed. Much to my surprise he is Steel Blue and gold/tan. Everyone thinks I got a new dog. My Aunt bought his brother 2 weeks after me and hers is Black and dark tan almost a red really. Baron is full of surprises. He was 7 1/2 months when I had him groomed. Baron's Mom
