Champions and Rising Stars I am starting this thread in hopes that the many wonderful show breeders on this forum will share in their glory by posting show pictures. This can be a great educational thread where we can all see pictures of beautiful show dogs all in one thread. If you have pictures of older champions or resent champions it does not matter. Show pictures of rising stars with points are welcome too. If possible, please post a little about your show dog, age, sire, dam, points won, etc. Ya'll come on, don't be shy.

This is our first Champion. He is CH Debonair's Prestigeous Prince He is Squeakers younger brother, I was showing Squeakers while Prince was out with the handler so although Squeakers was our first show dog, he was not our first CH Title holder I remember the first week Prince was out David called saying he didn't show well so he pulled him, the next weekend he was beating the Champions. So he did much better the next weekend, he went on to win a 5 pt Major at a Speciality in VA I have more pics of him but need to scan them. Deana Prestigeous Yorkies

Here is my first champion after returning to showing. I had some others back in the olden days, but they were just pointed and almost had two finished and then retired to raise my own human children. Here is Gigi. She finished in just 3 weekends of showing with 3 majors. This was back in Nov. 07. T.

Here is Easy. She is next and will be out with her handler in April. I will be showing her myself in Newnan. * This is a painting of her. I am hoping she will finish as fast as Gigi did. Easy's color is dead on. Beautiful blue and clear gold head. Great silky coat too. T.

First AKC show Well, i don't know if she is a rising star or not (in AKC) but here are the ribbons from her first AKC show a couple of weeks ago. She got 13 ribbons her first UKC show weekend. too bad she was Novice. But, she is 10 months old now. This picture is not one of her show pictures. i don't have any except the one where she is getting prettied up in the hotel room. She didn't like all that spraying, ironing and etc one bit but a girl's gotta do what a girls gotta do!!

| What a great thread. Well this first pic was my first bred-by ukc champion Bridgit and boy did I learn alot with this girl! We went on to also finish her sister with ukc. 2nd, 3rd and 4th pics are of my rising star Maverick as a puppy learning the ropes in ukc and akc. | Here are a few babies I had in the 80's and showed. I do not have any photos of them older, since I got rid of just about everything when I retired. I was so upset. I wish I had all their show photos now. Both were pointed and one, Bamba (one in the chair), only need a single point to finish. The second photo is my Becky winning Best In Match as a puppy. And then the third photo is her a little older. She turned out really nice! Beautiful color. T. Deanna - I was going to tell you how nice Prine looks! Very nice! But I had to run off to handling class and now just returned. Dee - you are headed int eh right direstion getting out there and showing. Nice girl! Robbie - Love the photos of Meverick. I think I recognize the one judge (Allen)? Best of luck you guys! I love this post too! T. Last edited by topknot; 03-24-2008 at 04:55 PM. |

Okay, here is the last one. I promise! Here are my next two that will be out after Easy. I have Prize (male). He is just a teenager, but shows promise. He looks better every week. And then here is my new girl Frida. She is here hanging around the house getting use to everything. She is just one year old. I just returned to showing 2.5 years ago and now my babies are finally old enough to show and hopefully we will have them all finished soon. It is a lot of hard work! And a lot of hope! T. Deana - Royal One is just gorgeous! What a great silky coat! Last edited by topknot; 03-24-2008 at 05:31 PM.
