| DQ at the Specialty in Kentucky Does anyone know why Kathy Bucher Sawyer DQ'd an open dog at the specialty? I see that it was almost 4 years old, so I doubt it was it's first time in the ring..

| I first heard a small white spot under the lip, but now, I have heard it was dq'd because of a white spot on the chest...These spots have to be larger than 1 inch. But, I have heard from a reliable sources that long time breeders/exhibitors went over this dog afterwards and there was NO white on the chest. Interesting??? Kathy Bucher Sawyer has been known to be an excellent judge so we can't figure out what happened. Maybe Shirley heard what was going on since she was at the show. You can check on the show results on Jack Onorfio's site for the Specialty to get the names. If anyone has received their AKC Gazette, there is an excellent article on page 64, Clarification of New Disqualification. Hope judges read it!

| Unfornuately we are going to have to put up with this for 4 1/2 more years. I don't know the dog that was DQ'ed I only heard it was for a white spot. I don't agree with the DQ but it is the judges ring and then it's our decision to show to that judge in the future. Not many judges have DQ'ed lately until KY... Donna |

| Would it not rub off on the judges handd/ The last AKC judge I showed under ran his hands all under my girls coat and picked it up to feel it. AND I had her coat perfectly ironed. I KNOW what he was doing but he didn't say anything |

| I just saw pics of the dog and I was shocked that this dog was DQd I could see no white. It was a lighter color dog but nothing I could see would validate DQ Really is a shame the mess that was made with this DQ being added. What a pitty Deana Prestigeous |
