| Hello from Florida, I adopted my Teddy from United Yorkie Rescue. They have a website with all the pups up for adoption by state. I not sure of Alabama though. They are a wonderful rescue organization. I would definitely adopt from them again but at the present moment I have 3 pups. Anyways just thought I'd share. I know there are other rescue organization just as good. Good luck! I'm thrilled you are looking to a adopt or foster :-) Sonia

I don't know, but it seems a shame that there isn't a way to make it work. | |

| I know. I wish there where more transport groups because I know a lot more dogs would get adopted if there was some kind of system in play.

I have adopted many pups to out of state folks who had no problem traveling to pick up their pup. For those who cannot, they just have to hang in until the can find a pup close to them.
