| Will they contact you if you were approved or not? I put in an application a while ago for this little guy http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/...?petid=9560617 There was a message posted before that they recieved "an overwhelming amount of applications". So is it common practice to let all applicants know, the dog has been all ready placed? I would like to put in an application for this other little guy http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/...?petid=9572408 but am afraid if I get approved for both I will have to choose and I would hate to have to do that.

| It really depends on the rescue, but typically NO they don't contact all applicants if not approved, especially if they have gotten tons of emails. With the dogs I've fostered I try to reply to every single email, even if its only to say that I don't think they are the right home, or I have an applicant that applied first that would be a good home, I just have to do a home visit, or whatever... just to let the person know I did recieve their email or application and what the status is. However, many of the volunteers have full time jobs, families, etc and on dogs that get tons of apps, they just don't have the time to get back to every single one. I'd say go ahead and apply for the 2nd one. Good luck!
