| X pen I'm looking for an x pen for Mia she is less then 3lbs at 18 weeks, I've searched on amazon and was interested in the collapsible octagon ones! Does anyone use these and how sturdy are they? I would like to have one with a removable top! If anyone has one of these I would greatly appreciate your input and also brand and size info! Thanks in advance! |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I have both the pop up playpen Amazon.com: Best Pet Folding Play Pen - Medium -... And the iris ex pen with two extra panels Amazon.com: Iris CI-604 Indoor/Outdoor Plastic... As a perment ex pen I would go for the iris. It also folds. The pop up one. Is only good for traveling. I took it to my moms. I would not trust it for everyday. It would not stand up to puppy abuse. Galen already made a hole I have to sew. Here is a cover for the iris ex pen. I ordered it I did not get it yet. Amazon.com: IRIS CI-604 Mesh Roof for 4 Panel... I hope this helps. Btw Galen is about the same weight and age

| I have two of the best pet folding pens. I really like them. If you do decide to get one of these make sure you get the one with the zippered bottom and top. The first one I purchased had a velcro bottom and about 2 weeks ago I noticed my little one chewed one of the vecro's she didn't get out but because she lifted the bottom she could have had an accident on my carpet. So I purchased another one with the zipper bottom. I puchased the XL it's the biggest one in pink this time. 39 inches tall. Might be a little to big for most people but my Chloe loves to jump. |

This pen looks almost exactly like the one I bought for Princess Sophie. Ours has more pink and less white. LOL I have seen her slam her little body against the mesh and so far so good. She's not a scratcher on the mesh though and I'm sure that's why it's holding up. We use it everyday. Inside, ours holds the travel carrier with a warming pad inside; a potty pad; extra blanket and food and water. It's a pretty full pen but she knows where everything is and when she's out of it, she's tethered so she can go into it to potty or eat if needed. It works really great for us. I also like it because it has a zip out bottom and top so I can take it with when I go visit my mom!

| I have that pen. I used it when my boy was a puppy. But...one day I walked through the front door & my little Yoshi was sitting there waiting for me in the living room. He had chewed through the mesh part above the zipper to the door & got out. I still use it as a rest area/crate. The pups go inside when they want a break, or when they want to get away from each other to chew a bully stick. But I can no longer contain them inside. I had to cut the door part off with scissors. Just a head up.

| I never used one when Crimson was a pup. We used the bathroom. However, we spend a lot of time outdoors so I just ordered one that is metal 48" tall with a waterproof top. We are excited and hope it gets here before the next camping trip. My girl is fast like the wind!
