| I Need Help Buying Bows! How do you figure out what size do you need? 3/8, 5/8, 7/8? Anyone know? I am so frustrated!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I always went with 5/8" but it does depend on how big your yorkies head it - what looks really good on Chanel may be huge on Cheri - so I just kind of wing it - I did have great luck with the 5/8" though - both can wear that size. |

| imo the 5/8 look best on small dogs for the single top knot. Or the 5/8 is good for double topknots for any size. Stewie would look fine with a 7/8 since he is bigger |

| See, I heard that 5/8 is better for a small dog, but I consider Stewie smaller than the Shih Tzus and Lhasa Apsos that also wear bows from the same sites I am looking at. Does that make sense? He's 7lbs, has an 8" neck, 14.5" chest and is 13" long from neck to tail. His head is normal size and his snout is fairly short. Ahhhh!!! I just confused myself more. So, 5/8 or 7/8? What's your vote?

| what bows are you looking at? I think stewie would look good in a 7/8. Isn't he wearing a bow in your avatar? What size is that? It looks good. |

| WEll, right now I am looking at your bows. Haha. I don't know what size that bow in my avatar is. I wish I knew! it only has one layer though. Some of the ones I'm looking at have 2 or 3 layers (like on lawdog).

| Some of those layered bows can be quite heavy and if he doesn't have a full pony tail, it might flop, especially the 7/8. I don't have a lot of bows right now, I have a lot of materials to make different ones, but haven't gotton to it yet. You know, that bow in stewie's hair looks like it has hibiscus on it right? That's the same ribbon I have in red and it is 7/8. |

| Lol - that's what I was doing - checking the sites to find the size of that one. Now I want to shop, thanks Kristy. The one in the avatar is 3/8 double looped. First picture 5/8 double looped.. Second picture 7/8 double loop..
