| Easy Harness, non-matting Hi, someone asked a while back about a good harness that won't mat the hair. I had to take back my $30 'gentle leader' it fell apart after 6 weeks. and Snickers got mats. So I got a 'Lil' Paw' double daisy harness for the petite dog. It has NO buckles, NO plastic 3 prong slide in buckoes or clasps, NO weird adjustments to make that take forever to get it to fit, and nothing to mat hair! It is a 'step in harness' that has a sliding metal alligator type clip to adjust above the back, and a swivel to the lead! The dog just steps in, you slide the clip and that's it!! So easy. It's about 3/8" wide, nylon, easy in and out, no mats. Hot pink or blue. I was so pleased I bought 3 more for the rest of my kids! PetSmart, $15.99. My kids are all between 3# and 6#.

| I love my silk one I got from Cindy. It's pretty, sturdy and fits very well. But my lil snot Bella -l- started chewing through it 'cause she didn't like it on her (she hardly ever wears collars or harnesses) so I have to try to repair it or buy another.

| I got one from Chattie's mom is that Cindy. I love it. It is the best fitting harness that I have ever had. Plus it doesn't mat Deiter's hair at all. And that is so nice. I will always get them from her for now on. She did a wonderful job on it.

| The way to keep a dog from chewing a lead or harness is to rub a little vicks on it. For the silk, i would probably use a Qtip and run a tiny bit on the inside, it doesn't take much
