| Anyone have the snoozer console car seat? Reese is about 6lbs and I am not sure if it would be too small for her. I have to order a carseat off line because no stores carry them by me, so any help would be greatly appreciated |

| I have one and my smaller 4 to 5 pounds dogs that are fairly short fit, but it is very small. They don't have lots of extra room to lay down in. If your dog is long at all I would probably get the oversized one (providing it fits on your console). My two smallest ones love it. They lay down and hang their head over the edge. I haven't really tried my bigger two (5 to 6 pounds but larger build) in it. I don't think they would be as comfortable.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I have two of the Snoozer's. The Lookout 1 I have for the back seat. Jilly is 4lbs. and that is her throne. She fits quite nicely with plenty of room to spare if Jack or Kenzi jump in. I also have the Car Console Lookout. This one is very small and Kenzi who is 3# 10 oz. fits snugley in it. I don't use it on the console though because we have a pick-up truck and it doesn't fit one it. I have managed to rig it in between the console and back seat. They work great. In my opinion Reese at 6lbs. would be way to big to fit the car console. If you look at the Snoozer website they advertise the car console for "teacup size dogs". Hope this helps you.

| I have 5 different Lookout Seats and the gang loves them. The car console really only fits my 3# girl or for the #4 little guy sitting up. I got all my Lookout Seats off of ebay. I think they are worth every penny spent on them.

| I love the Snoozer car seats!! Howie and I travel just about every week and I have the Lookout II car seat. I can turn the airbag off on my passenger side seat, so I have it there. He's so cute... we get into the car and he hops right in! One time I forgot to hook him into the seat and didn't realize until we got home and he sat there like a good little boy the entire time! 6 lbs is prob a little too big for the console though.

| The regular snoozer lookout..can you put it in the both front and back seat? and the dog can see out the window? I just want something that will work if I have someone in the car with me also, which is why i originally thought the console one would be good. Up until now Reese has sat on my lap, but I realize this is unsafe for her if we get into an accident. |

| If you have a larger vehicle (like a truck or van) the larger console would work for you. My girls are both 4lbs and love our snoozer console (only one at a time can use it). I have yet to find anything else they like!!!

Yes. You secure it with the seat belt. If Reese rides in the front you want to be able to turn off the passenger side air bag though. It definately sits high enough for her to be able to see out the window whether used in the front or back. We've had Jilly in the car seat ever since we've had her so she is uncomfortable riding anywhere else but her snoozer. Jack on the other had, prefers my lap. (Naughty mom!) Well, and Kenzi, she would rather ride on hubby's shoulder!

No Longer a Member | I have the console lookout, and Chloe is almost 5 lbs now. She is getting too big for it, so I think it would be too small for a 6 pounder. Its a shame too because I like having her on the console. I'm afraid it will be a major pain to put her in a regular seat--moving the dog seat in and out for other passengers. |

| Do you think the SUV car console is too small for a 4-5 lb dog or just the regular car one? |

| Max Won The Carseat Battle!!! I'm envious! Your babies actually use their seats. Max honestly thinks it's his car and why am I driving it instead of him? I got the Lookout. He spent the entire time hanging by the harness because he was forever trying to get out of it. I don't know how I drove because I spent the entire time putting him back in. We traded the Lookout for the console which he hung out of so that his head and whatever part of his body he could get out, could touch me. I put that away and got the Outward Hound hanging seat. He managed to sit so that the bottom folded up and he would get stuck in it. He also spent as much time as possible hanging from it in an effort to get out. I gave up on that and got the seatbelt harness which does nothing. He's so small he just slides around when the car moves. He now sits on my lap. He's not allowed off, he's allowed to stand up and look of the driver's side window and that's it. He clearly won the carseat battle! Judy |
