No Longer a Member | Dog.com. I will NEVER order from them again!! I am so mad I just have to vent. I just got off the phone with Dog.com's customer (no) service. They are rude, discourteous, and totally unhelpful. So here's my story. Wayyyyyy back on February 11, I ordered some items from them. According to the web tracking, my package arrived at my local post office on 2/17, but after several days, it still had not been delivered. When I called my post office and spoke to the postmaster, they informed me that what Dog.com uses isn't really the PO, but another courier company called Smart post that drops packages off in bundles to the PO for delivery. So what supposedly happened, is that a list that said my package was there was there, but no package. Like a tracking sticker with no package attached to it. So I called Dog.com a week after it was supposed to have been delivered and told them the story. They said I'd have to wait until 14 business days after it was supposed to be delivered and then they would send it out. This was March 2, I think (IIRC). Anyway, she said she'd send out a new one then. So I called on 3/2. She hadn't sent it yet, but would send it Monday. I called Monday 3/5, she still didn't send it, but said she'd get it out that day. Two days later, I get an email that my package was sent, Wednesday, not that monday, and I was charged again, AND over $10 more than the original order!! So I had to call again and go through a mile long explanation of the whole story and was promised to get a credit. Anyway, a few days later, the package finally arrived--nearly a whole month after the order was placed. So I thought all was fine, right? Wrong! Today, another package came to the door. Now, neither one had the original postal confirmation on them, so I thought the first one I had gotten was the replacement order, but apparently, it was the first one. THE PACKAGE HAD NEVER BEEN ORIGINALLY SENT THE FIRST TIME until after I called when it was missing a week! So I didn't even open this package, because if it's unopened, I can write REFUSED on it and leave it for fedex to pick up. I called Dog.com and after explaining the story for the billionth time, asked what they wanted me to do with it. She wanted me to open it. I told her right there, "I don't want to mess with having to repackage and mail this back. If I leave it unopened I can just refuse it." No, she wants me to open it. Yep, surprise (DUH!) it's the same order. So I'm thinking, maybe they'll give it to me for all the trouble I've been through. Nope. She wants me to now go to fed ex and send it back to them, or they are going to charge me for a second package. Fed ex is 20 miles away, and I am in and out of this house several times a day taking my kids to and from different schools. I can't leave an opened package out for them, and with my schedule, who knows when I can be here at the same time they come. I told her, she could have left well enough alone when it was unopened. Now, it can't be refused. I told them they should just let me keep it for all the trouble...it wasn't even a very expensive package. No they can't do that. They were so nasty on the phone too...like it was my fault they sent the tracking sticker with no package!! I am so pizzed right now that I have to mess with sending this back. ARRGGHH! Someone please tell me you'll never order from them. It will make me feel better Thanks for letting me vent. |

| That's terrible! I'm sorry you had to go through that! It seems like their customer service is totally lacking, and for their mistake they should have compensated you instead of inconveniencing you!! I was thinking about placing an order, but I doubt I will now. Sounds like a real pain in the butt situation.. |

| I can tell you that I will never order from them. It is helpful to hear from actual customers to know who we can trust.....word of mouth, they should think about that before they treat their buyers so poorly! Tammy |

| Wow, I'm so surprised because I order from Dog.com a lot and I've never had any problems!! I'm so sorry you had to go through that. The only things that pisses me off more than making mistakes (since we're all human) is when someone has an ATTITUDE!! That just burns me up!!

| I ordered from Dog.com a couple of months ago. It took FOREVER for my package to get to me. And the tracking # thing never worked on their website when I plugged in my tracking #. It was SOOOO annoying! Sorry you had to go through that. I won't order from them anymore. |

That's what makes it even worse. I did ask for management, and the guy I got just said the same thing. In fact, he was the one that was the most nasty. | |

Gosh, you wore me out just by reading this (wipes sweat off forehead)..... I am SO sorry this happened to you........how awful!! I always order from them because of the free shipping.........I have a similar experience (that I posted before) with Petedge.........I refuse to order from them again. I know how you feel and I don't blame you for being so angry, frustrated and ready to scream.......... Make sure you leave them a terrible review. Jess

| My step mom had a bad experince with them last year. It took 3 mo to get her order, by then she didn't even want it anymore. I just sent an email to customer service saying I would never buy anything from them again because their customer service is so terrible. A store cannot stay in business if they don't treat their customers right.
