| Hard Plastic or Soft Side Crate? I don,t know whether to buy a hard plastic crate or a soft sided crate? I am getting a tiny Yorkie and I like the soft sided crates, but I am afraid she could chew through it or get the zipper down. What are your experiences? |

| With the softside, because it's so light I would be afraid that the dog might be able to tip it over if he/she pushes on one side, I don't know if this could happen, it's just something I wonder about. I've always used hardsided crates and never had a problem.

| I use both. I already had a soft and a hard crate. Cozy does not seem to perfer on over the other. I use the soft crate if I will be gone for greater than 2 hrs. so that she has more room and the hard one trips in the car at least for now. |

I Love Thor Donating Member | Are metal ones an option? they don't smell funny, can't chew through them, can't 'undo' the zipper, and you can make them soo comfy! |
