| Doggy Stairs I just bought doggy stairs for Kiki and was wondering how long does it take before he realize how to go up and down the stairs. I had to get it because my bed sits up really high and he was always jumping on the bed and hitting his legs on the wooden post.

| We bought wooden steps in the toddler dept. at Target a few years ago, you can even store toys inside. I don't know if they still sell them or not, but they were much cheaper then the 'pet stairs' and work great. We even use the same ones in the RV. so they can reach the bed. Our little ones are less than 5 lbs. each. Hope that helps in your search. Good luck ! |

| Stepping Up Hi - I have stairs in my bedroom and stairs in my livingroom - and they were the best investment that I made for my little girls - My Angel took to the stairs immediately, but my little Muffin didn't get the idea of going up and down for a few weeks - but now she's a pro - we've been using stairs almost 10 years now - and I know that having the stairs in the house definitely saved their little bones from getting broken.

That is wonderful news. I just had to get them because if something had happened to his legs, I don't know what I would have done. Every time he jumped on my bed, I would say to myself, I have to hurry up and get those stairs. Well, I finally got them today and so glad I did.

| I also have the Walmart As Seen on TV steps and they work fine except that Little Bit will use them to get on the couch but then she jumps off. After she fell off the couch today, I put the steps away for a while. Hopefully, when she gets a little older, she will get a little smarter and use them to come down. She cannot get on any of the furniture or beds without the steps so I don't have to worry about her jumping or falling off for now. I had just thought it would be nice if she could get up on her own. |
