| Discreet Purse Carrier Reviews Hello all, I found this site searching for product reviews for a discreet Yorkie purse carrier, and was wondering what is the latest and greatest most discreet purse carrier out there for 2013? Has anyone ever made a purse carrier for their dog? If so, where could I find a pattern? Also, my puppy is only 4 months old, although I'd love to buy or make a purse already, I cannot afford the expense of two and wondered what size would be recommended? My puppy only weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces this morning. I'm pretty sure his parents are both under 5 pounds so thinking a carrier for up to a 6 pound dog would be wisest. Thank you in advance for your kind comments. Last edited by furrybaby; 02-28-2013 at 11:24 AM. |

| Hi! I would have no idea. So sorry, but I'm sure there are others here who will be able to give you good product advice. Also, you might like to go back through some of the threads in this section and see what other's have reviewed as far as pet carriers.

| I sell dog carriers... so I am glad to give my opinion My current favorite carrier is the Jaraden.. here is a link that I posted a week or so ago. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...t-carrier.html I would say your could either a.) get a simple inexpensive bag to use until your pup is grown b.) or get the best you can afford but larger then you need because your pup will grown into it. research the features you want... think of how and when you are going to use it.. that shuld help you choose. good luck shopping Shinja

My favorite! Zips up completely if wanted, does not look at all like a carrier and dog is wonderfully safe, secure and well hidden inside this carrier. | |

| Thank you for the link, I especially appreciate the pictures of your dog inside. What I always wonder about is how it looks wearing it? Where does it sit under the arm? My present bag causes my dog to sit to one side, lop sided, and if he puts his head out the side window, the entire bag rocks forward. It's not an expensive bag nor is it discreet. Have you ever heard of where to get patterns to make one? I'm thinking that I will find a bag I love and make it. |

| I saw a cute pattern on Pinterest for one, I haven't made one though. You might try running a search for a pattern on there if you are wanting to make one. The one's posted above are awfully cute though, just a different look. And, Welcome to YorkieTalk Furrybaby.

| Wow! I found an entire thread with loads of patterns! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yt-...ml#post4149711 Since there is a designated area for patterns, in the case I can make a dream come true and actually buy a discreet purse carrier or have one made in it's likeness, does anyone have something to add regarding my original question? The most awesome discreet purse carrier this year? I'd love to see what you think! Thank you! |

| Jaraden Mon Ami I purchased this carrier for my baby Chloe. It is beautiful, very discreet, comfortable (thick, removable bottom pad which is vinyl and the inside of the bad has the same lining. There are two huge front pockets and one additional pocket, also comes with shoulder strap. It looks like a designer purse. |

| I just use an inexpensive canvas tote bag...and Alice jumps in when she wants to go anywhere ....one of her commands is "get low" which means snuggle down in the bag discreetly (no popping up for looksies) for quick jaunts into the grocery store or train etc... it works great and keeps wear and tear on her more expensive travel bag... :-) |

| I personally love my Kwigy Bo. I have taken Rosie to our mall and everyone thought it was just a purse.
