| Extra wide pet gates? Hi everyone, I'm trying to find extra wide pet gates and I was wondering if anyone has a brand/design that they particularly like. I need a gate that can expand up to approximately 85"...thanks everyone. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | That is a wide opening. I've seen lots of pet gates that extend to 72", but can't remember seeing them longer (although I'm sure there are). Do you want one with a walk-through gate and do you want it attached to the walls, or pressure mounted? Also, wood or plastic?

| Frontgate.com They have a six panel pet gate you can get up to 144" you dont have to mount. It is made out of wood and. Very nice looking also. These books come in at work and I have a few items I have been thinking of getting. I think my boss has ordered from there and that is why we get the book now. | I bought one online from Walmart that expands to 8 feet wide and I think it was like $40. I don't remember the brand - I think it has North or something in the name. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | This is an ex-pen but wondered if something like this would work. I used an ex-pen across our hall entry for sometime, until just recently getting a pet gate to go across our front door, in between the storm door and wood front door. I realize you couldn't pressure mount this pen, but when we used the ex-pen it wasn't necessary, none of my kids could move it, to get around it (or they didn't try). Plus, you then have an ex-pen also if you want to take it outside. Walmart.com: IRIS 4 Panel Indoor/Outdoor Plastic Pen White: Dogs

| I have one by EvenFlo I think that's what it's called, it's collapsable and is huge, when at it's smallest setting it is too big for the average door frame, we use it for our kitchen livingroom archway... plus it collapses into the size of one of those collapsable chairs... you can buy them at Toys R Us, also they offer a warrenty on baby products (and chewing is covered) it was 8$ here in Canada... good luck

I had to add behind the gate one panel from the x-pen till I can figure out my next step. The x-pen by itself she would climb it. She is a bad girl! | |

| Love this gate We got the Pet superyard 3 in 1 metal (bronze finish) with curved top from Amazon. It was about 140.00 and expands to 144". I love it for our big opening and the versatility of being able to use it as an Xpen if needed. |
