| Has anyone tried this carseat? I think it's time to buy a carseat for the Chip and Smokey. Smokey is pretty good about staying in the backseat and not moving, but Chip is like a wild child sometimes. I found this one at petedge and wondered if anyone tried it. It says it fits up to 35 lbs... Smokey is 15 and Chip is 9, so would there be enough room for them? It says there are straps to attach to their harness - are they adjustable so they can't try to jump out? Any reviews would be great! PetEdge: Lookout My Buddy Car Seat w/Storage for Pets

☺Farrah☺ Donating Member | I do not have a car seat yet. But the one you chose looks great. Any time there is extra storage I think "bonus". Good luck.

| I just bought it! Petco had the best price that I found. We go to the vet on Tuesday so I will let you know what I think that will be my first time using it.

| Chip and smokey would fit! My neighbor has two pekinese that share the double seat and they do fine. The included straps that attach to their harnesses slide (buckle) over the seat belt so have plenty of room to slide back and forth as the dogs move, they adjust to make them as tight or loose as you choose. (note that you need 44" of seatbelt or a seat belt extension to buckle the car seatbelt thru the snoozer seat). Last edited by ritapatt; 06-20-2010 at 03:24 PM. Reason: add |

| I have a Kurgo seat for up to 30 lbs. It hangs over the seat and it's been great! I can't imagine what I'd do without it.

| Carseat I have the Lookout and love it. Mine has the storage. Both my babies fit in it perfectly and are able to look outside. I found mine on Craigslist at a great price. My babies know when I put it in the car, they get to go Bye-Bye and will go crazy until I put them in the car. When not in use, I put it beside a window so they can climb up and look outside. |

| I think your boys would definitely fit. I have the same version, only I think my cover is a different fabric. My girls are 11-12 and 9 lbs, and they have plenty of room. They both have room to lay down, and they even have enough room to sit next to each other to look out the window. I think you'll really like it. The angle is kind of odd on this since I took it from the front seat. 24814_667524827859_12808459_37610262_6218424_n.jpg

| Just a word of caution.. I just bought this this car seat and returned it two days later. The first time we used it we took Pistol for frozen yogurt, on the way home a deer ran out in front of the car my DH had to hit the brakes not terribly hard but hard enough. Pistol was wearing a harness and strapped to the seatbelt. His little bum though flew forward and he was hanging from his harness over the front of the car seat. He did not get hurt, and I had ridden in the back since it was his first time in the seat. I scooped his bum up and put him back in the car seat. The next day I returned that car seat and got the basket kind. With this one he can't tumble out the front of the seat. |

| I think i might get this too, but the single one. It has an attachment for a safety harness? I don't see that in the photos.

Yorkie Talker | I have one for my yorkie, Bula, and one for his Pekichu (Pekingnese/Chihuahua) brother and they love them because they are now high enough to see out the windows but can also curl up and snuggle when they're tired. All of my friends are getting them too. I do clip them in to keep them safe and I prefer this to the harness, which was too contricting. If attached correctly with the clip coming around the horizontal part of the seat belt, it is very safe. Enjoy! |
