| Will it be a waste of money to buy footwear ..... Hello everyone Tootsy comes back from her walks in the autumn/winter months with very wet, dirty & cold feet and I was thinking of getting her some boots. She has never worn any boots before and, after looking through the forum, it seems that some of you think it may be too late to get her to accept wearing boots. Do you really think I will be wasting my money? She hates having her nails done, does this mean that she is likely to hate anything on her feet? I really would like her to wear boots. Any advice/opinions? Luv Yvonne xxx |

| We never had much luck with boots or any kind of footwear with dogs. But we do use Paw wax (you can buy it at Petsmart) to protect their paws on occasion.

| Thanks for the reply. How long did you try to get them to wear the boots and how old were your furbabies? Which makes did you try? Hope you don't mind all the questions! Luv Yvonne xx |

| I have two different types of boots and booties that Mike told me about when we were going to go to Alaska, but they won't do very well here. My girls get their feet and the hair on tops of their feet totally black when we walk and I needed something for when we start camping and traveling in the motor home since most parks have lots of dirt. I saw these in the gwlittle catalog and am now very seriously considering buying them. They sound perfect for what we need. GW Little
