What a wonderful story to share with others about a senior yorkie getting a loving home owner and a good home. It just goes to show that older dogs can make great companions. Bently 1 | |

| What a beautiful story! Thank you so much for sharing it. Our Oliver, who will be 16 in January, is not doing so well. But Billy's story made us both feel better!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | What a great story, that's one great thing about Yorkies, they have a much longer life span than many breeds. I need to start taking better care of myself!

| That is such a great story. My first yorkie, Ferdi live to be 19 years old. He passed from kidney failure at 5 months short of his 20th birthday. Bless his little heart. I still miss that little guy so much.

Thor's Human Donating Member | I guess I'm going to be a downer here... I would have assumed that the world's oldest dog would have been 24, at least, maybe even 26. Is 22 really that far out there?

| Wow, Billy is an inspiring story. They say that dogs outside of America live longer.

| Do you still dress up your yorkies? I love to dress mine for my own enjoyment. I love putting them in pj's in the winter. Of course winter in Florida is not like those in the north but they seem to appreciate them anyway. I go gaga over the newest fashions and try to mimic them with patterns I have. It isn't the same because my sewing skills are lacking but no matter, they look so cute anyway. That is such a cute picture.
