| TJ wont eat dry food TJ is 9 months he wont eat his dry food. i feed him wellness so i know he has good food. he is so super finicky. the only way he will eat his wet food is if i mix it (i have been using cottage cheese lately) but i really dont want to have to do that with his dry too! any suggestions i am getting frusterated.

The 15 minutes rule works. Put his food down, leave it 15 minutes, if he does not eat. TOO BAD pick up and dont offer again for a couple hours, then do it again, still wont eat, take it away NOTHING else, no treats nothing. Then dinner time put same food down, if he refuses, too bad. He will by morning LOL. Also, did you change his suddenly? Most dogs wont eat dry food, it is boring. I home cook for my puppy and feed raw tripe as a chewing think middle of the day. have you thought of home cooking? I make a lovely meat porridge which is loaded with everything they need. | |

| i went to the grocery store today and did some shopping. gerber baby food has on organic line so i bought some of those to mix with his dry food i also got tuna, yogurt, cottage cheese, and baby carrots. when i got home i mixed tuna and baby food carrots, sounds yucky but i have never seen him eat so quickly i had to tell him to slow down bc i thought he was going to choke!! i am SOOOOO happy he is eatting!! i also gave him afew baby carrots a few hours later to knaw on and he loved those also. i am so thankful to the recipe section and all the great ideas. also i did do the 15 minute rule and am going to stick with that. thanks
