| bad mommy?? I got sample bags of Innova to try on Coco and as all of you know she's been having some itchin' days. Well I noticed today that on the bag, it doesn't say puppy formula, it says Dog. I crunch the kibbles so they are small for her but do you guys think that makes a difference, that it's dog food instead of puppy food?? Is this a stupid question, because I feel like a dummy for asking...haha

| There are no stupid questions! Puppies really need the extra nutrients and calories in puppy formula. They can't eat enough adult dog food to meet their needs.

| I think puppy growth formula has stuff in it they need right now that dog food doesn't have. If you only have small samples, use it and then get the puppy formula, IMO.

| I'm just afraid that her allergic reactions may be coming from the ingredients in the dog formula, as opposed to the gentle formula in the puppy mix. Do you think??

| I bought the Innova puppy but Maximus really hates it...it's the size of honeycoms as opposed to the littleness of royal canin..but I have noticed less itching..even though it is a struggle to get him to eat all his food |
