| Somebody Help Me Hello! I just recently got my baby (three days ago). I have a couple of questions. Maybe someone can help. Daisy, my baby, hasn't been eating that well. I have had to hand feed her. Even then she doesn't eat very much. I have been giving her nutra-cal as well. Do you think I need to take her to the vet about this? Also, the breeder i got the dog from told me to buy Dingo Beefy Tied Bone for Daisy. So I did and today she swallowed a piece!! I didn't know she had until she threw it up. I immediately took the bone away. Do you think she'll be ok? |

| Hi and welcome to YorkieTalk! Congratulations on your new yorkie How old is your little Daisy? And what food are you trying to feed her? Maybe she doesn't like it...Or maybe she's filling up on nutri-cal. Nutri-cal is very important to have on hand when they're not eating, but only give a little bit. There are some recipes for finicky eaters that you can do a search on here for. Have you tried just giving her boiled chicken(no skin, no seasonings) and rice? That usually gets their appetites going Or you can try to give Daisy some baby food. Gerber pureed chicken or gerber chicken and rice. Good luck!

| Thank you. Daisy is 8 weeks. The breeder told me to buy Nutro Natural Choice for puppies. Daisy doesn't like it at all. I did try to give her a boiled egg, but she didn't eat that either. I went to the pet store and got Natures Recipe. I was looking for Innova because I had read that it was one of the best. I went to a couple of pet supply stores, but non of them had it. She ate all of the food in her bowl and was looking for more. The first time that I didn't have to hand feed her. Do you know anything about Natures Recipe? |

| I have never heard of Nature's Recipe. My dogs do well on Canidae and also Nature's Variety....the only negative to Nature's Variety is that my pets gained weight. This might not be a bad thing for your baby, though. Tammy |
