Wellness Dog Food I Am Changing Henry From Science Diet To Wellness,i've Been Adding A Littleof The Wellness Every Day, But He Picks Out The Little Bites Of Science Diet, I Think The Wellness Is Too Big . After Reading The Rating Of These Foods, Science Diet 63 , Wellness 110. I Would Like Him To Have The Best Food. Although The Vet Recommended The Science Diet, He Also Sells It. Any Advice!!! Gb

When I switched to Wellness my two were a bit skeptical too. It is a different size and I thought it might be too big so I mixed a little warm water in with it to soften it up. That seemed to do the trick

You could also add alittle fat free/low sodium chicken broth to soften the food. It takes time for them to adjust. Wellness is a good food.

My furkids Donating Member | I have a very picky eater...When I got her she was on royal Canine...she got sick of that pretty quick...and...it's not the best food. I then switched to Wellness...she ate this for a while and then got sick of it. I too, think the pieces were a little big for a yorkie. I got another furbaby last August...The breeder had her on Nutro Ultra puppy...Sadie (adult) would eat the puppies food so....I am now giving them Canidae. The kibbles are small and it's for all stages...They both love it..and they also sell canned food...I mix a small amount with their kibbles and they woof it down. No more picky eater!

when i switched Layla over to Fromms she only picked out the Fromm food... the woman at the petstore said that because i was changing her from a not so good food to a high quality food i could expect some diarrhea while her system cleared itself out. she had it for about one day... i know my situation is completely opposite of yours but i wanted to let you know that if he does have diarrhea it's ok! good job for making the switch!!
