| I am mixing a little Canidae All Stages canned food with my dogs kibble. It has softened up their little "tootsie rolls" a bit but they are still easy to pick up and flush. TMI? It is a good healthy food for all 4 of mine from puppy to senior. I want them to mainly have the kibble but a little canned seems to make my older two eat better and I was afraid the puppies seemed a little constipated with dry alone.

| There's lots of good brands out there, we alternate between Merrick Puppy Plate and Wellness Puppy. My girls like both equally well, but the Merrick is a little runny. That would be great for your baby since his poo is so hard.

| I alternate between ProPlan puppy, Merrick's puppy plate, Ultra and Canidae all stages. Gracie gets bored with her food easily.

| You could buy braunsweiger at the grocery store and slice a small piece off, heat it for a few seconds and squash it up in the food. Not alot, just enough flavor the food. My dogs love it. It is by the lunchmeats. |
