| Has anyone tried the Pet-Ease? when you take your pup for grooming or to strange places to ease anxiety?

I use something called Calm Moments and it really works. It's made of herbs and some amino acids such as tryptophan. We gave a quarter dose to our puppy last night before the fireworks started around here, and she was pretty calm and fell asleep despite the noise. The first time I gave it to her before that, the dose was higher and she pretty much conked out and went to sleep for about 4 hours. I think Pet-Ease is the one I had before for my kitty and it didn't work nearly as well.

I get Calm Moments at a local pet store. They aren't a chain store, so unless you live in the NW, you probably don't have the same store. I don't think the big chain pet stores carry it. But I would call around to some smaller individual pet stores.

I have used the Pet Ease. I have four dogs and only one will take it voluntarily. It works well with her but I have to give double the dose. I have crushed it for one of my other dogs and it did nothing. I have used it for traveling purposes.

Nope no drugs. Just some calming herbs and common aminos that you can get at any health food store. They just combine them in amounts that dogs can tolerate.

Dang! I'm sorry I forgot last night. Our puppy wasn't eating and had hardly eaten all day, so I was preoccupied with figuring out how to get her to eat and forgot to post. Will try to remember tonight.
